My name is Erin. I am 28 years old. I am working full time as a registered nurse in the Newborn ICU at a pediatric hospital and I also volunteer every week as a nurse at a free clinic with my husband.  I’m going to school part time to finish up my bachelors degree in an RN-BSN program. I have been married since August of 2008 to an amazing man named Matthew! We just had a little baby, Lilah, and she is the joy of our lives! We adore her. I am a Mormon and I love being the president of the Young Women’s organization in my ward. I served a mission for the LDS church in Mendoza, Argentina. I lived there for about a year and a half. It was an amazing experience and because of my mission I speak fluent Spanish. I love to go on humanitarian missions. I had the opportunity to live in Ecuador for 3 months and serve in the orphanages there with an organization called OSSO (Orphanage Support Services Organization). As a nurse for my church, I travel to countries with a high infant mortality rate to teach newborn resuscitation. So far, I have been to Colombia twice on behalf of my church and I hope to go on many more humanitarian trips! I love to go camping, hiking and on dates with my husband. I enjoy snowboarding and I love to decorate cakes. I am a musician and love to compose piano music and lyrics. Because of my work as a registered nurse, I know how fragile life is and I treasure my family and the experiences that I have every day. I have had many challenges but I draw strength from Jesus Christ and have felt His power in my life. I try to center my life around His teachings and I feel that because of that, I have had a great life! 🙂
