Grandpa Thorup’s Birthday Cake

Standard

Last Thursday was my Grandpa Thorup’s 86th birthday! He’s such an amazing man. I love him so much. He was in the navy in World War 2 and spent a lot of time on a submarine. He has been a great example to me all of my life. He always helped me to feel loved and I’m so thankful for him. He has served 4 full time LDS missions with my Grandma in Georgia, New Zealand, Nauvoo, Illinois, and a local mission to help people find work at the employment center. One of my favorite things about my Grandpa Thorup is the way that his face turns bright red when he laughs really hard. Its a silent laugh and his whole body just shakes up and down. It’s so funny. I love the memories that I have of going to dinner and FHE at his house with all of my aunts and uncles and cousins. I love my Grandpa so much. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
